Leo Vega returns for his 15th year on the NSU men’s soccer coaching staff. He is responsible for match-day tactical analysis.
Vega has an extensive playing and coaching background. He began his playing career in 1974 with Danubio FC of Uruguay. He has also spent two years with world renowned Club Athletico Penarol. He closed out his playing career by captaining Alto Peru and Club Athletico Rentistas, both of Uruguay. Since moving to South Florida, he has been a fixture on the local scene, winning the prestigious Superclubs U-19 and the Gold Coast Soccer Championship with several clubs.
